It's just a little place we call a heart. It's not the heart that can be found by a surgeon, an x-ray machine or listened to with a stethoscope. It's the heart that I live in, love in and dream and most of all it's the place Jesus calls his home! Everyday leads me down another twist and turn in the path with Jesus guiding and shaping my heart. Every day is another step in the journey!
So I commend the enjoyment of life...Then joy will accompany them in their toil all the days of the life
God has given them under the sun.

of homebodies. So when an enormous white bear mysteriously shows up and
asks her to come away with him--in exchange for health and prosperity
for her ailing family--she readily agrees. The bear takes Rose to a
distant castle, where each night she is confronted with a mystery. In
solving that mystery, she loses her heart, discovers her purpose, and
realizes her travels have only just begun. As familiar and moving as "Beauty and the Beast" and yet as fresh and original as only the best fantasy can be, East
is a novel retelling of the classic tale "East of the Sun, West of the
Moon," a sweeping romantic epic in the tradition of Robin McKinley and
Gail Carson Levine.
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him,and by his wounds we are healed.

Sunday Thanks
The Lord your God is with you,he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you,he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
I use to sing this
song on my morning walks up the winding trails of Catalina Island CA.
In my mind, I see the beautiful waters and the height switch back trails
ahead of me; Iron Wood tree and cactus dot the yellowed grass and sandy soiled paths. The smell of wild lilacs
mixes with the salty breeze . I would lift my face to the warmth of the sun and for a moment time stopped. It was like I was
on a date with God. I am just standing there, holding his hand,
enjoying him and remembering the things that I come to know and love about him. The sun
would shine off the water and creation caught it's breath with the awe of God. I would declare my desire to always be with my Savior "I want to fall in love with you".
This morning I though the older couples who have celebrate their 60 or 75 wedding anniversary. Maybe it's the process of aging that makes their features begin to look more alike because somehow they look similar to one another. More than that, they have this look that says, "I know you, completely. I love you endlessly." They can finish each others sentences and know the desires of the other, often with out asking. The wife dishes up her hubands plates, she puts on the green kale he doesn't like and says " eat up old man... " he finishes with "it's good for my heart". He puts a pillow behind her back as she sits down because he know she she will be comfortable this way. It's not perfect, but it's as close as two separate people can get to being blended into the ONE that God intended. Years of history hidden beneath white hair and wrinkled skin. The history of falling in love just a little more each day.
If I project the years ahead and my hair is now white with age, maybe I'll look a bit like my husband (oh that could be scary, He's handsome but I wouldn't look good with his hairline ;) but the one I want to look the most like is my Jesus. I want to have he's features, his eyes, ears, hands, voice etc. Meanwhile very day I am falling a little more in love with Jesus. Until the day I fly away to be with him forever I want to dance in the field of wildflowers, hold my Saviors hand and stop to be in awe of his great love ! " I want to fall in love with you"
